things are moving fast

I had to take the playdo away because she started putting it on the floor (she’s clear that the rule is on the table) . The Bean then got very mad. In the spirit of discipline, not punishment (because really putting the playdo away was enough of a consequence)I said very quietly to her “Bean, do you need to go be mad in time out?”

She walked over to the gate, said “I’m a mad Bean, Time out.” and went up the stairs to her bedroom.

Holy Toaster.

I guess all the things happening in this last couple of weeks is what the holding pattern in the couple of months or so before was about. She was gearing up for both a physical and mental explosion.
