A couple of weeks ago we were all eating out and Em was flinging her skirt up and showing off her pony panties. I suggested this was not best done “in public.” She got VERY upset and said at the top of her lungs “But MOMMY we’re DEMOCRATS!!”

She is currently arguing with J about burping in public being ok because “we’re democrats!”

And when Kathy took her to the movie with her kids, when it got quiet right before the preview she coughed and said, so the whole theatre could hear (and laugh) “I coughed and now I have mucous in my mouth and have to spit it into the sink.”
