We’ve had a good summer. We’re saving up for a Disney cruise, so we haven’t gone anyplace but we have been doing more than usual. Going swimming many times a week. Bean has been at an excellent summer camp three times a week and we’ve had visitors come through every few weeks from various places we’ve lived or they’ve moved. This is the lovely Whitley-Saum family and their hilarious daughters, sans Dad who had to fly back early.
We tend to be a bit quiet and hard to get moving (preferring reading, writing and those pursuits to activities out in the world) but we’ve done better this year. It really has made me miss how many summers I got to have with her though and how much time we used to have together. It makes what we have now even more precious.
