For days she’s been correctly pointing to numbers in some counting books and identifying them correctly. Up to 5, then 8 and 9, sometimes 7.

And she correctly points out about half the letters of the alphabet on her blocks and alphabet block books.

Today, when maisy was on, there was a train with numbers. There was no sound. Emily went up to the tv and pointed at the numbers 1-4 and said 1,2,3,4.

So l would say she is on her way to reading. YES!

I’m so proud yet again and so happy she’s about to find her way into one of the best things about being human:reading.
