she went right into a group of kids and started playing.
James and I went out to the parking lot, where I started crying. He’d been quietly thoughtful the whole trip.
The first time we’ve sent our daughter, our child, our baby dear off too school.
A nice mom said “don’t worry it gets easier,” and that she “cried in the parking lot too.” The other Moms in there were very sweet as were the teachers.
I keep thinking what is she going to feel when she really notices I’m gone? Will she be scared, will she be sad?<\/p>\n
It is the right time for her to go, she’s ready to be around other kids and there are lots of things she’s ready to learn.
I know I can use the time to do a few things. But I miss her.<\/p>\n
But oh, my little butterbean is growing up too fast. My little ladybug is starting on the path that leads outside the home. But oh, she’s starting her education–a wonderful thing.<\/p>\n
I think I’ll go to the grocery store and try not to think about it too much. I love her so.<\/p>\n
